Canadian artist Cybele Young sculpts paper into fascinating domestic miniatures with implied narrative. She manages to tap into the childhood fascination for things wee and magic, and her results are grown up. See more great work on her website.
What an interesting use of Facebook. Artist Michael Byron and others’ organized The Elephanta Project and use the social network to “examine the elephant’s mystery and imposing form, its fragile future as a species…”. Participants post imagery and links related to these magnificent creatures.

Aren’t these great? These are installation shots ( for those dyslexic like myself – the art is on the wall with the floor in foreground.
