Unbelievable. Qin Fengling‘s acrylic paintings with extruded (? ) brushwork details. Kasia Kay Gallery website exhibits more of Qin’s work.

Michelle Heimann‘s paintings make me think of my sketchbook thumbnails. (I am not being unkind as I often think these notes are my best work). No data was given on the Pac Gallery website but I am assuming Michelle works in oil.

Titania Henderson‘s bone china pieces are exquisite. More information about this work can be found at Karen Woodbury Gallery.

Jorge Rojas loves wax. He often pours it into sculptural forms but these pieces appeal to me for their very basic simplicity.

ooh la la. Mixed media paintings by Rudy Lanjouw. You just have to love Rudy’s physical involvement with paint. In spite of my obvious greed, there are many more images for you to see at his website. : )

Didi Van Der Velde‘s extraordinary small abstracts. I like the recurring egg motif of this Dutch artist’s work. Visit Didi’s website to see more paintings and collage.

We finish off the week with the miniature jewels of Lanoue Fine Art. Alicia Rothman‘s little paintings inspire me to greatness, or at least I want to pick up my brush. Her dot paintings…wow.

Brad Durham is another artist at Lanoue Fine Art with a compelling sense of materials. The layering effect of his oils makes me wonder about process and surface. I like.
